KP Hawthorn has had a career as varied and winding as the California Coastline. Known primarily for her mellifluous vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting flair, her debut record under her solo moniker captures the essence of her experience as a performer who hailed, most of her life, from the west coast.

“Til The Glitter End” is a collection of re-imagined recordings that includes a Led Zeppelin cover “Going To California". ‘Glitter’ was produced by KP and Steve Berns and recorded at Fitting Room Studio in Nashville, TN and performed by some of East Nashville’s most brilliant musicians. Ted Pecchio on upright bass, Chris Benelli on drums and percussion and none other than Johnny Hawthorn on the electric guitars. Together, the band created a California dream-pop backdrop to an Americana song collection that sounds like it was dipped in honey and sprinkled with gold dust. The lead track “Fool’s Gold” hits the airwaves on July 18th, followed by “High Road” (feat. Rosie Flores on guitar) on August 15th.

KP’s songs and voice have been heard on hundreds of network and cable tv shows through the years. She is a founding band member for The HawtThorns and CALICO the band and produced records for many of her peers.
